Staten Island and New Jersey Area Marth Mariam Samajam Members Volunteering at Soup Kitchen

On Saturday, December 12, 2015, sixteen members of the Marth Mariam Samajam of New Jersey and Staten Island area members joined hands in serving the needy and the hungry at Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church at 309 St. Paul’s Avenue in Staten Island, New York. In addition, the members from various churches of the area contributed nonperishable food items for the food pantry.

Rev. Fr. T.A Thomas (Vice President of MMVS), Dr. Ammukutty Paulose (Diocesan Charity Coordinator), Dr. Soffy Vilson (Staten Island and New Jersey area Coordinator), Mrs. Sara Mathew (Secretary of MMVS unit of St. Mary’s Church Staten Island) and Mrs. Sherin Varughese (Secretary of Mar Gregorios Church Staten Island) worked hand in hand with Mrs. Reena Sabu (Secretary of St. George Church Staten Island) and others to ensure the event to be a blessed one.
