2014 Orthodox College Summit on January 4, 2014
Throughout the college careers of students, it is clear that the campus students' life is one of many struggles including: a purely secular environment, peer pressure, negative influences, and fear/stress of one's future.
In order to further empower our college students with the skills they need to take on the campus life, the diocese has created the Orthodox College Summit. The purpose of this college summit is to provide an open forum setting for college students to discuss their struggles and provide them with the access to spiritual counseling, mentor ship, and leadership training courtesy of our area clergy and MGOCSM alumni of this area. The event will have clergy and alumni of MGOCSM speaking, leading group discussions, practical workshops, noon/evening prayer, question & answer panels, and a mixer.
The Orthodox College Summit will take place on January 4th, 2014 at the St. Stephen's
Malankara Orthodox Church in Midland Park, New Jersey..
