Rev. Dn. Geevarghese (Abu) Koshy Ordained Mshamshono

Rev. Dn. Geevarghese (Abu) Koshy, son of Rev. Fr. George Koshy, was ordained to the rank of Mshamshono on June 2, 2012 at St. Basil's Monastery (Mor Baselios Dayro), Njaliakuzhy, Kottayam, Kerala, India.

The ordination services were led by His Grace Geevarghese Mar Ivanios of Kottayam Diocese, with the blessing of His Grace Zachariah Mar Nicholovos.

Dn. Geevarghese Koshy, is a graduate of St. Vladimir’s Orthodox Theological Seminary, Yonkers, New York and a graduate of the liturgical studies program at Orthodox Theological Seminary, Kottayam, Kerala, India. He is currently the only ordained Mshamshono of the Northeast American Diocese

Dn. Geevarghese Koshy is married to Mrs. Feba Mariam Koshy, daughter of Rev. Fr. P. A. Mathew.

May God grant all of His choicest blessings upon the ordained deacon and his family, and may the Holy Spirit lead him in the ministry God has entrusted him.
