Memo from the Diocesan Metropolitan
Blessings to our Very Reverend Chor Episcopoi, Reverend Fathers, Reverend Deacons, and faithful of the Northeast American Diocese!
By the Grace of God, our churches remain open for worship, and our clergy are rendering effective pastoral care despite the challenges caused by the pandemic. We are grateful all of our clergy and faithful are abiding by the precautions set forth by our Diocese and the local government.
Despite our own efforts, we are saddened to learn there are reports of an increase in COVID-19 cases. Please continue to abide by the directives issued by the local governments, including the guidelines issued by our Diocese and the CDC. Most of all, remain vigilant and adhere to all precautions/advice offered by medical professionals.
Let us continue to pray for all the sick, and those who are caring for them, especially the medical teams who are exhausting their efforts to combat this pandemic.
Commending you all to the loving care of our Lord!
Yours in our Lord,
Zachariah Nicholovos, Metropolitan
