One Day GROW Conference on March 29th 2014
G.R.O.W. (God Renewing Orthodox Women) Ministries will be hosting its annual one-day young women's conference of the Northeast American Diocese, on this Saturday, March 29th, 2014 from 8:30am - 4:30pm at St. Thomas Indian Orthodox Church, 1009 Unruh Avenue, Philadelphia, PA. This is the third annual diocesan conference hosted by this ministry. The first conference was in New York in 2012, and the second was in New Jersey in 2013.
This year, women from Virginia to Boston will be assembling together in Philadelphia to hear the main speaker, the Diocesan Metropolitan, H.G. Zachariah Mar Nicholovos on the theme Who Am I, based on Isaiah 43:1c "I have called you by name, you are mine". His Grace is a strong supporter of the ministry and recognizes the importance of women in professional, family and church environments.
In addition to the main speaker, workshops will be conducted for the women in five different stages of life: high school, college, single/professionals, married, and mothers. The five workshops will be led by women lay leaders.
The conference is open to all young women, ages 13 and up. The conference fee is $10 and it will be collected at the door. For those who did not register online, registration will be available at the door. Breakfast, lunch, and snacks will be provided. Transportation is arranged from Washington D.C., Queens, NY, Staten Island, NY and Yonkers, NY.
We humbly seek all of your prayers for this conference and the ministry.
